Plasma, Stat!

Paging Dr. Looney, Paging Dr. Looney.......

We've got a turned-over and pushed 27 inch regular old-fashion TV that is not working. Owner says he "accidentally" pushed it over by cleaning out the rat's nest of wires underneath....

No pulse....No brain waves....

WE need a Plasma TV, stat!

When the morgue workers come, send them to my place. I've got a similar patient - 1 1/2 year old 32" TV with a broken part that is easily fixed for $160-$180. That's almost what I spent for it! So I've pulled the plug and it has breathed its last.

On the bright side, I do love my new LCD HDTV. That's the kind of heartless hussy I am - didn't even wait until the picture tube was cold.

How much do these HDthingys run, anyway? You can get a $40-off coupon for the converter box, but nobody says what a converter would cost. If it's $40 off a $50 converter, fine, but if it's a $200 converter, I might be better off just getting a new TV. Unless they are $500, if you see what I mean.

I guess if Frankie got one, they must make some in the affordable range. Are they really so much better? When you guys do get one, be sure to blog about it!

Oops, now I see you did at least mention it in a later post! Details!

If you need Dr. Looney to make a house call to examine your TV just call the office and make an appointment. Most insurance companies will cover your cost of having Doc Loon completely overhaul your television viewing pleasures.
